The Smolt is a small juvenile Atlantic fish that averages 10-20cm in length and weighs between 10-80g. Designer Jonathan Style (designer of the Militaw) was inspired to create a new straight knife (fixed blade survival knife) that incorporates everyday knife use scenarios to create the Kizer Smolt knife 1063A1 with a blade length of 2.93in (<3in), an overall length of 6.5in (165mm), and a weight of 3.16oz (89.7g).

The survival Knife is made of 3V steel for excellent hardness, improved edge retention, and rust resistance. EDC fixed blade knife - Ultra-sharp combat knife, stronger than any hunting knife or folding knife. Ideal for camping expeditions, survival training, or military combating.

Our camping fixed-blade knives take reference from the Smolt's shape and feature a Drop Point shape and a regular curved handle (Micarta intay on G10) with 4 grooves on the handle to increase grip and aesthetics, a minimalist design.
